FRAZADA DE HEXAGONOS OCEANA
This is a blanket made with hexagon motifs. It is for a baby carriage, so it is on the small side.
I used the pattern in Attic24: Hexagon How-to. If you haven’t visited Lucy´s blog yet, do so, for it is so colorful and wonderful.
The yarn I used is Caron Simply Soft, in White (for the petals), Berry Blue, Lavender, Blue Mint and finally Oceana paints, which is multi-colored and I used for the center of the flowers.
I filled in the gaps left by the hexagons with granny-style
clusters of 3dc’s (Check my pattern: Fill-the-Gap in the Hex).
For the
final white edge, I used the Olé Olé pattern, found in Le Monde de Sucrette.
