Stripes are
so classic, and so enticing. And they
are so easy to make in blankets. Simple
rows of dc’s. The key is to choose your
colors well.
Las franjas son clásicas y atractivas. Son fáciles de replicar en las frazadas, con simples hileras de varetas (pilares). La clave está en la elección de colores.
La fuente de inspiración para los colors de esta frazada fue una tela de franela para bebé (en medio):
Yarn
(Lana): Acrylic, medium
Star (Madame
Tricote), in bright blue, beige, cream, light and medium greenSatin (Bernat) in baby blue
Crochet Hook (Gancho): 5 mm
Éste sera un regalo para un bebé.

ReplyDeleteYou are so right - it's all in the colour choices and these are delightful for a baby boy. Pastel but not too pastel, bright but not too bright - perfect!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your color combination on your blanket. Very pretty
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the design and how the color choices make all the difference.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are perfect and I like that they are random, rather than uniform, something I have a problem with accomplishing. Best wishes for a great day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteIt's just lovely. And will look gorgeous snuggled around a baby boy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! If I have a baby boy tomorrow can you send it to me? lol
ReplyDeleteAnd such a nice change from the sugary pastels!
ReplyDeleteLove the blanket, nice colors
